Coming to a Classroom Near You

I am finally starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel.I will be student teaching in the Fall, so I am almost there!!! I found out I will be student teaching in a 3rd grade class, which is exactly the grade I wanted to be in, so I am super excited. I will be teaching at Rolling Meadows Elementary School, home of the Rockets. I found a Rocket to be an interesting choice for a school mascot, but anyways, teaching there was exciting news because the school is right in my aunt's neighborhood and my cousins went to school there.We were always playing on the playground, so I am familiar with the school, so that helps. Seeing an end in sight feels so nice and helps me to stay motivated with my schoolwork. I am taking classes this summer and I am not too excited about that. I basically can't go on any vacations or just hang out,but I figure once I graduate, I will have summers off for the rest of my life!!!
